Khalid Masood Ghani

Khalid Masood Ghani has practised for more than twenty years in constitutional, civil, revenue, banking and environmental law. As Assistant Advocate General he represents the Government of the Punjab before the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the Lahore High Court, and has handled over a thousand government matters, several of which are reported in Pakistani law journals.

He has served as panel counsel to United Bank Limited since 2006, as Chief Legal Adviser to Shaheen Cosmetics (Pvt) Ltd., and as an adviser to the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority. He began his career under Justice (R) Malik Muhammad Qayyum at Qayyum & Associates, Lahore.

He was General Secretary of the District Bar Association Multan in 2015, chaired the Human Rights Committee of the Punjab Bar Council for District Multan, and has been appointed amicus curiae by the Green Bench of the Lahore High Court.
